, 80, a life long Wakefield resident died on Wednesday, December 11 at his residence.
Born in Wakefield on April 21, 1933 he was the son of the John F. and Margaret (Hogan)
Dalton
.
Mr.
Dalton
was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He was a retired Glazer from Rich Glass in Wakefield and had also worked for Malden Glass and at the Commissary at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford. Mr.
Dalton
had served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and had also retired as a Master Sergeant for the United Sated Army Reserve. He was a member of the Wakefield Elks and St. Joseph Church in Wakefield. Mr.
Dalton
enjoyed golfing and traveling to Northport Florida.
He is survived by his wife Joan E. (Castagnino)

and his wife Joan of Groveland, Michael J.
Dalton
and his wife Robin of Pepperell, David R.
Dalton
and his wife DeeDee of Wakefield, Mark D.
Dalton
and his wife Carrie of Wilmington and Matthew P.
Dalton
and his wife Yuxia of Mansfield and his daughter Susan J. Bollinger and her husband Mark of San Antonio, TX. Mr.
Dalton
is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and his great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his three brothers; William, James and John
Dalton
.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 4 to7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Care, 100 Trade Center, G500, Woburn, MA 01801
