Richard C. LaCoste, 89, of Lynnfield, died on Sunday, November 3 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.
Born in Malden on November 25, 1923 he was the son of the late George E. and Mona B. (Law) LaCoste.
Mr. LaCoste was a graduate of Malden High School and also attended Boston University. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. LaCoste was a retired purchasing agent for Old South Photo and Engraving of Boston.
He had been a Lynnfield resident since 1949and was a member of the Lynnfield Historical Society.
Mr. LaCoste was the husband of Virginia E. (Stephan) LaCoste. He was the father of Richard S. LaCoste, Lauren G. LaCoste and Donald G. LaCoste and his wife Kim, all of Lynnfield and Susan R.Vollor and Julie E. Dimeo and her husband Frank all of North Reading. He was the brother of the late Ruth, George, Barbara and Donald. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren David, Kimberly, and Jack.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill Ave., Lynnfield on Saturday at 11 o'clock.
