Rita Confalone

Rita C. Confalone of Lynnfield, age 82 died Tuesday March 24 in Lynn. Born in Lynn on November 14, 1926 she was the daughter of the late William & Sarah (Walker) Perry. Mrs. Confalone was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She later worked for the former New England Telephone Company and later and for many years as a Real Estate Agent in Lynnfield. She had been a long time member of the Salem Country Club and was a founding resident of Sunrise of Lynnfield which she enjoyed.

Mrs. Confalone was the wife of the late Samuel Confalone. She was the mother of Peter S. Confalone & his wife Janice of Lynnfield and Perry W. Confalone & his wife Diane of HI. She was the sister of Patricia Merenda of FL and the late Lorraine Perry. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amelia, Joanna, Elizabeth, William and Emily. She is pre-deceased by her grandson Peter Confalone.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield at 10:00. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday evening 5-7 PM.
