Rita Schille

Rita E. Schille, 90, of Melrose, Wakefield and Vero Beach, Florida, died on Monday, February 18 at the Greenwood Nursing Center in Wakefield.
Born in Everett on June 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa Costa.

Mrs. Schille was a graduate of Everett High School. She was a retired switchboard operator and receptionist for Wakefield Engineering. Mrs. Schille was a former Den Mother for the Wakefield Cub Scouts and was a member, Social Director and board member for the Vista Plantation in Vero Beach.

Mrs. Schille was the wife of the late Charles R. Schille, Jr. She is survived by her son Paul Schille and his wife Debra of Melrose and her daughter Wendy Reilly and her husband Frank of Melrose, her sister Emma Trulli of Peabody, her four grandchildren; Eric Schille, Ryan Schille, Meghan Reilly Clare and Christopher Reilly and her three great grandchildren; Luciano, Maxx and Talia. Also survive by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schille was predeceased by her grandson Matthew Schille.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home., 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 7pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the Service starting at 4pm. Interment will be at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
