Rita Williamson

Rita R. Williamson, 82, of Wakefield, formerly of Cambridge died Monday evening June 2 at the Wingate Nursing Home in Reading.

Born in Cambridge on December 31, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Irene (Perry) Kharibian.

Mrs. Williamson was a graduate of Cambridge High & Latin, Class of 1943. She was a former secretary for the Center for Blood Research and Atlantic Plywood of Woburn. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 19 years.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her husband William Williamson, two daughters, RuthAnn Puppo and her husband Steve of Lynnfield and Janice Williamson of Wakefield, her son William Williamson and his wife Julie of Seattle, WA., a brother Ronald Kharibian and his wife Viv of Peabody and her four grandchildren, Nicole and her husband Dana Griffin, Elena Puppo and her husband Mark, Ashley Puppo and Anne Williamson. She was preceded in death by her sister Hilda Kharibian and brothers George and Albert Kharibian.

The funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Grove & Salem St., Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday 4-8 PM.
Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
