Robert Amiro

Robert H. Amiro, 77, of Wakefield, died on Thursday, September 30 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Stoneham on February 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Harold J. and Mildred (Boudrow) Amiro.

Mr. Amiro was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1963. He was a retired Sales Manager at Sears in Peabody with 41 service.

Mr. Amiro served in the Unites States Coast Guard Axillary where he earned the following honors:

He is survived by his daughter Danielle Krenzer and her fiancée Marcus of Nottingham, New Hampshire, his two granddaughters: Katrina and Kaile and his loving significant other of 15 years Kathy Smith of Wakefield.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday from 4-7pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield on Thursday at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
