Robert Arthur

Robert C. Arthur, 81, of Wakefield died on Friday, October 21 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Malden on January 3, 1930 he was the son of the late Charles and Lucretia (Hancock) Arthur.

Mr. Arthur was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He had worked as an Inspector for Palmer Manufacturing in Malden.

Mr. Arthur was the loving and devoted husband of Lois D. (Laine) Arthur. He is also survived by his brother-in law Richard Laine and his wife Elaine of SC and his sister-in-law Robyn Lovering of Norton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
