, 85, of Wakefield died Tuesday May 10 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Winthrop on March 3, 1926 he was the son of the late Francis & Rose (Magno)

Mr.
Trudeau
was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. He later attended Boston University where he earned both a Masters Degree in Education and a B.S. Degree in Journalism. His first job was with the Boston University Publicity Bureau. He later worked for and was retired from the City of Melrose Public Schools in 1992 after 38 years. He taught at both the Elementary and Middle School level. He was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield, was an avid Boston Sports fan and also enjoyed reading. Mr.
Trudeau
served in the United Sates Army during the Korean War.

is survived by his wife Ann J. (Bucciero)

& his partner George Pessotti of Wakefield, his daughter Michele Y. Silva & her husband Mark of Nashua, NH and is predeceased by his son Craig

. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Paula (Lazzaro) Trudeua of Wakefield and his 3 grandchildren, Tess, Isabella and Will.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, in Wakefield.
