Robert Cusick
Robert L. Cusick, 77, of Lynnfield died on Monday, December 21 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
Born in Chelsea on November 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Ruth (Cassier) Cusick.
Mr. Cusick had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of Boston College High School and Northeastern University. He retired from the Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation in Boston as a construction manager after 32 years of service. Mr. Cusick was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, the Lynnfield K of C, Lynnfield Senior Center and Model Ship Building Club of the Peabody Council of Aging.
Mr. Cusick was the husband of the late Lorraine I. (Menard). He is survived by his two sons; Sean R. Cusick of Boston and Neal A. Cusick of Seattle, WA., his two grandchildren Joshua C. Muse and Brayden R. Cusick, his brother Richard Cusick of Ireland and his devoted companion Janice Funai of Reading.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northeastern University College of Engineering in memory of Robert L. Cusick Scholarship Fund.
