Robert J. Donahue, 67, of E. Kingston, NH formerly of Stoneham died on Tuesday November 4 at his home.
Born in Boston on November 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Cornelius V. and Mary T. (Connolly) Donahue.
Mr. Donahue was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston, Class of 1959. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Donahue was a retired Bus Driver for the M.B.T.A. and was a Union Representative.
He had been a Stoneham resident for 36 years before moving to E. Kingston, NH in 2004.
Mr. Donahue was the husband of Virginia A. "Ginny" (Brogan) Donahue. He was the father of Robert J. Donahue, Jr. of Stoneham, Mary Theresa Condon and her husband Sean of Plymouth and Christine M. Howarth and her husband Will of Brentwood, NH. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Jalen, Callum and Griffin.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Friday, 4-8 PM. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
