Robert L. LeClair, of Sunland, CA formerly of Arlington MA died Thursday July 11 at the Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, CA.

Born in Somerville on March 5, 1918 he was the son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Patenaude) LeClair.

Mr. LeClair was raised in Somerville and Medford. He was a retired sales representative in the garment industry. Mr. LeClair graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River. A WWII veteran, he served 9 years in the United States Navy and retired with the rank of Lieutenant. Mr. LeClair was an avid golfer and a long time member of the Woburn Country Club.

Mr. LeClair was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Procop). He was the loving father of Thomas J. LeClair & wife Nancy of Wakefield, John S. LeClair & partner Bobby R. Miller of Provincetown, Mary J. LeClair of Sunland, CA and Paul R. LeClair of Lowell. He was the brother of Jeanne LeClair of Somerville & the late Armand LeClair. He was the loving grandfather of Stephanie Spindler & husband Scott and Amy LeClair and great grandfather of Kayley, Zachary & Bradley Spindler. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday from 10am until 12pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
