Robert Schmidt

Robert A . Schmidt , 90, of Lynnfield died Thursday, February 18 at Billerica Crossing.

Robert was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 14, 1925 and was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Steab) Schmidt .

He was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School in Michigan and later graduated from the University of Michigan. He was a long time resident of Lynnfield since the 1950's. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Lynnfield Congregational Church.

Robert was the loving husband of the late Goldie H. (Hansen). He was the loving father of Gary P. Schmidt and wife Agneta and Anita Schmidt Zander and husband Olof all of Sweden. He was the brother of Margaret Hallas of Ann Arbor Michigan. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren

His funeral will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Friday, March 4 at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10am.
