Robert Seibold

Robert J. Seibold, 84, a Stoneham resident for 57 years, died on Saturday, August 13 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Chicago, IL on November 9, 1926 he was the son of the late George and Arline (Meeker) Seibold.

Mr. Seibold was a graduate of Rosemont High School in Chicago, IL. He had worked for United Airlines for 44 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Seibold was a World War II Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Hilfrety) Seibold with whom he shared 66 years of marriage, his five children; Carol Ann Linscott and Elizabeth Seibold both of Stoneham, Robert J. Seibold, Jr. and Peter M. Seibold and his wife Beverly all of Reading, George E. Seibold and his wife Paula of Stoneham. Mr. Seibold is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Todd Farrell, Kelly Seibold, Thomas Seibold, Jr., Michael Seibold, Danielle Seibold, Caroline Seibold, Robert Seibold, Jenna Seibold and Catherine Seibold. He was predeceased by his son Thomas C. Seibold.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham at 9 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Church Building Fund, 71 Central St, Stoneham, MA 02180.
