, 70, of Wakefield, died on Thursday, May 3 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.
Born in Boston January 4, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Frances (Lambert)

Roberta
had been a Wakefield resident since 1958. She was raised and educated in North Quincy and Wakefield.
Roberta
was a retired Dietitian at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield and the Wakefield Bowling Club. She had also volunteered at the First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield.
Roberta
is survived by her two brothers; Edward C.
Hathon
, Jr. and his wife Mary of Beverly, Robert L.
Hathon
of Reading, and her sister Barbara Manser and her husband Brian of Merrimac. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Roberta
was predeceased by her sister Margaret Leonard.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St, Reading, MA 01867.
