Roberta Marquis

Roberta L. Marquis, age 69 of Haverhill, MA and formerly of Stoneham died April 1 in Methuen. She was born in Chicago, IL on March 19, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Gloria (Girondi) Pinto. She was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. She worked in the medical field as a CNA in the Boston area. She was an avid bowler, reader and lover of children.
Mrs. Marquis was the beloved wife of the late Douglas E. Marquis. She was the loving mother of Dawn Szymczak of NH, Anita Cunha and Laurie Cunha of E. Boston, James Cunha of Reading, Hannah Resciniti of Stoneham, Gloria Richards of TX, Paula Richards of Saugus and Teila Richards of Andover. She was the sister of Paul Pinto, Jr., Theresa Delmonaco and Evelyn and Roseanna Pinto. She is also survived by her adoring seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as her cousin Joyce Rizzo and her husband Paul and their children of Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends are invited to the McDonald -Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday April 6 from 4-7 pm. A Prayer Service will begin at 6:30 PM.
