Rose M. Conley, age 92 of Stoneham formerly of Melrose and Malden, died Monday, February 16 at the Concord Health Care Center.
Born in Malden on January 17, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (O'Donnell) Ward.
Mrs. Conley was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Cheverus High School in Malden. She had been a member of St. Patrick Church and had lived in Seminole, Florida for many years.
Mrs. Conley was the beloved wife of the late Robert Conley. She was the loving mother of Thomas Ward and his wife Louise of Stoneham. She was the sister of John Ward of Burlington and the late Mary Richardson, Kay McCole, James, Danny, and Ted Ward. She was the grandmother of Sean Ward, Leah Dow, Erin Dirks, Kelly Derchi-Russo, and Thomas Ward. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Monday at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday prior to the mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
