Rose Ingeneri

Rose L . Ingeneri , 96, of Wakefield died on Saturday, October 29 at her residence.

Born in Elmira, New York on April 26, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephina (DiMartinis) Marinelli.

Mrs. Ingeneri had been a Wakefield resident since 1976. She was a graduate of Girls High School in Boston, Class of 1932. Mrs. Ingeneri was a member of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, past president of Home and School Association at Boston Latin High School, St. Florence Parish and the Lady Sodality of St. Florence Church.

She is survived by her husband Peter J. Ingeneri (Former Senior District Superintendent for Boston Public Schools), her two sons; Peter J. Ingeneri , Jr. and his wife Beth of Nashua, NH and Rev. Paul M. Ingeneri and his wife Betsey of Flanders, NJ. Mrs. Ingeneri is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Severino Marinelli and Anthony Marinelli and her two sisters; Ida Travers and Anna Carino.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Florence Parish, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield, MA 01880
