, 87, of Lynnfield, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 19 at the Salem Hospital.
Born in East Boston on August 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Josephine (DeMassi) Cavaliere.
Rose
was a graduate of East Boston High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston. She had been a Lynnfield resident for 60 years and was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield.
Rose
was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved aerobics and cooking. She also enjoyed her summers at Lake Winnipesaukee and was an avid reader.

. She was the devoted mother of Maryann

of Winthrop, Donna
Ligotti
of Wakefield and Ellen Quirk and her husband Bill of New Hampshire. She was the sister of Francis Cavaliere and his wife Pauline of Winthrop. She was the cherished grandmother of Brian, Leah, Lauren, Arianna, Kaitlyn and Courtney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Sts., Lynnfield on Friday at 2 p.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield prior to the Mass starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
