Rose Parsons

Rose Parsons of Wakefield died Monday, October 4 in Reading after a long period of failing health. She was 82 years of age.

Born in Saugus on October 1, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Charles & Mary (Pergola) Faragi.

Mrs. Parsons was raised in Saugus and had been a Wakefield resident since 1953. She was retired from the L.B. Evans Shoe Company of Wakefield where she worked for many years.

Mrs. Parsons was the wife of the late Charles E. Parsons. She was the mother of Janet Cresta & her husband Tony of Wakefield. She was the grandmother of Tony Cresta & his wife Laura and Jena Cresta all of Wakefield and her great grandson Anthony Cresta. She was the sister of Charles Faragi & his wife Gloria of Middleton, Sarah Cucurullo of Saugus, Mary Richards of TN, Kathleen Sylvain & husband Robert of Melrose and the late John, William, Rocco & Leo Faragi and Phyllis Lazzaro. She was also the sister In-Law of Sandra Faragi of Saugus and George Parsons & wife Doris of Woburn.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Thursday at 11:00am Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8pm.
