Roseann Concannon

Roseann T. Concannon, 88, of Reading formerly of Stoneham, died on Friday, February 5 at the Artis Senior Living of Reading.

Born in Somerville on November 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elena (Melchionda) Moscaritolo.

Mrs. Concannon was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was a retired correspondence secretary at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Mrs. Concannon had been a Stoneham resident from 1962 to 2018 before moving to Reading. She was a Girl Scout Leader and Neighborhood Chairperson and was a member of the Mystic Side Girl Scout Council.

Mrs. Concannon was the wife of the late Joseph Concannon. She is survived by her four children; Peggy Lomasney and her husband Ron of Wakefield, Joseph Concannon of Melrose, Maureen Murphy and her husband Andy of Weymouth and Patty Monahan and her husband Mark of Norwich, Vermont, her six grandchildren; Jessica Murphy, Kara Fleming and her husband Peter, Harrison Monahan, Avery Monahan, Bridget Monahan and Erin Lomasney, her two brothers; Anthony Moscaritolo and his wife Lucy of Saugus and Jerry Moscaritolo and his wife Rosemarie of Arlington and her dear cousin/ friend Shelia Darrigo. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 73 Central St., Stoneham on Thursday at 10am. Visitation and Interment will be Private.
