Roy J. Mochi, 75, of Peabody formerly Lynnfield and Wakefield, died on Friday, January 2 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
Born in Medford on December 1, 1934, he was the son of the late John and Madeline (Dandelino) Mochi.
Mr. Mochi was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1952 and the Boston Arts School. He was a self employed Commercial Artist. Mr. Mochi was a Korean War Army Veteran.
Mr. Mochi was the husband of the late Cheri (Chiaradonna). He is survived by his two sons; Greg Mochi and his wife Kathy of Middleton, Jason Mochi and his wife Toni of Santa Barbara, CA and Robin Mochi of West Yellowstone, Montanan, his five grandchildren; Melissa, Connor, Justin, Boston and Vienna, his brother John Mochi of Winthrop and his two sisters; Nancy Struzziero of South Hadley and Mildred Leccese of Somerville.
Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield at 9AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
