Ruth Heath

Ruth E. Heath, 83, of Derry, New Hampshire formerly of Stoneham died on Sunday, November 22 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire.

Born in Stoneham on August 5, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Katherine (Shaunessy) Grant.

Mrs. Heath was born and raised in Stoneham. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1944. Mrs. Heath had been a Stoneham resident her whole life before moving to Derry, New Hampshire in 2004. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to laugh and was always the first one to lend a helping to hand to anyone.

Mrs. Heath was the wife of the late Warren R. Heath. She is survived by her two daughters; Fay Provost and her husband James of Derry, NH and Nancy Calcavecchia and her husband Stephen of Palm Coast, FL and her grandson Stephen Calcavecchia Jr. Mrs. Heath was predeceased by her two brothers; Walter Grant and Charles Grant and her sister Dorothy Finnegan.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Saturday at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Care Givers of Greater Derry, 58 E. Broadway, Derry, NH 03038.
