Ruth Olsen

Ruth A. Olsen, 78 of Nashua, NH formerly of Lynnfield and South Boston died Thursday November 25, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Boston on August 30, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Yuskowski) Ross.

Ruth was a graduate of the Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston class of 1950. While living in Lynnfield she was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church. She has been a Nashua resident since 1984.

Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years Gerald F. Olsen. She was the devoted mother of Christine Cormier of Nashua, NH, Paula Perez and her husband Michael of Merrimack, NH, Patricia Olsen-Goldberg and husband Jack of Mansfield, and the late William, Stephen, and Robert Olsen. Dear Sister of Eleanor Coffinet, Patricia McNeil, Carole Burns, Judith Peterson, Frank Ross, Paul Ross, and the late Donald Ross and Dorothy D'Amore. Loving Grandmother of Robert and Kiley Olsen, Danielle and Samantha Cormier, Elizabeth, Christopher, Stephen, and Leah Perez, and Charlie and Sam Goldberg.

The funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Maria Goretti Church at 10 o'clock. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemeter in Lynnfield.
