Ruth Mcgonagle

Ruth P . McGonagle, 86, a long time Wakefield resident died Sunday, July 20 at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Melrose on September 9, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Hunnewell) McGonagle.

Ms. McGonagle was raised in Melrose. She was a graduate of Melrose High School and Malden Business School. Ms. McGonagle was a retired secretary for Nestle Foods.

Ms. McGonagle was the sister of the late Thomas McGonagle. Aunt of Barbara McGonagle and Joan Driscoll both of Wakefield and Raymond Malonson and Kenneth Malonson both of NC.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, on Wednesday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St, Wakefield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Woburn.
