Ruth Treanor

Ruth C. Treanor, 81, of Woburn formerly of Wakefield died on Saturday, July 24 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Medford on November 1, 1928 she was the daughter of the late James J. and Catherine (Donovan) Treanor.

Ms. Treanor was a graduate of St. Clements High School in West Somerville. She was a retired secretary for Home Owner Federal Bank in Boston.

Ms. Treanor is survived by her sister Helen McNall of Wakefield and her brother Richard Treanor of VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ms. Treanor was predeceased by her brother James J. Treanor formerly of Wakefield.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church. 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
