Samantha Marie Giordano

Samantha Marie Giordano, age 30, of Stoneham, passed away October 13, 2024. 

Born in Boston on September 8, 1994, she was the daughter of Nikcole M. Giordano and Michael R. McCollin of Stoneham. Samantha was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 2013 where she was a standout hockey and softball player. She also went on to attend Salem State University. She loved science, reading, poetry and art, most especially resin art. She was passionate about music and was a lover of animals. Samantha was a wonderful baker and was famous for her raspberry scones. She was also a fitness enthusiast and loved the ocean and being outside. 

In addition to her parents, Samantha is survived by her sister, Melissa A. Giordano of North Andover; her brother, Keith McCollin of Stoneham; her grandmother, Debra Hill and her husband Bill of Stoneham; her grandfather, Gary Giordano of Everett; her uncle, Scott Giordano and his significant other Elisa Groundwater and their children Sophia and Camiren of Haverhill; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. 

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham on Friday, October 18  from 4-7pm.
