Sandra Granese

Sandra L. Granese, 73 of Stoneham, died on Thursday, July 26 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Concord on June 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Frances (O'Brien) Kenney.

Mrs. Granese was raised in Concord and was a graduate of Concord High School and Lasell College. She had been an Administrative Assistant at Stoneham High School for the past 28 years. Mrs. Granese was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late Andrew M. Granese. Mrs. Granese is survived by her son Andrew P. Granese of Boston, her daughter Elizabeth M. Granese of Stoneham, and her sister Joan Maio of Winchester. She is also survived by her nephew Kenneth Maio of Oregon and her niece Patricia Sheedy of Wakefield.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald –Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 9a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Winchester.
