Sean Connerty

Sean D . Connerty , age 19, died Tuesday, June 24 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Born in Boston on June 22, 1995, he was the son of Daniel J. Connerty and the late Jodi (Yeadon) Connerty .

Sean was raised in Roslindale before moving to Wakefield in 2004. He had recently graduated from Matignon High School as a member of the Class of 2013; he was currently a student at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Sean was an avid skier and spent many of his winter weekends at various New England ski resorts. During the warmer weather, Sean enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, Sean is survived by his stepmother, Martha Haley-Connerty. He was the brother of Rory Connerty of Maryland, Collin Connerty , Matthew Haley, and Lindsay Haley all of Wakefield. He was the beloved grandson of Frances Connerty of Hingham. He is also survived by many, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Monday at 11:30 a.m. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
