Sergie Monterisi

Sergie C . Monterisi , age 94, of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, August 6 at the Windgate Nursing Home in Andover.

He was born on August 3, 1925 and was the son of the late Joseph and Madeline (Lucavero) Monterisi .

Sergie was a retired sales manager for Prudential Insurance. He was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. After high school, he served in the Navy during World War II. Sergie was a member of the West Side Social Club, The Wakefield Lodge of Elks, and at the VFW of Saugus.

He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria R. (Ioanna). Sergie was the loving father of Joseph Monterisi of Haverhill & Robert P. Monterisi & his wife Jane of Windham, NH. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Peter & Frank Monterisi , Jessie Ferrandi & Alvera Celeste. He is also survived by his grandchildren Heidi, Tracy & Jared & great grandchildren Claire, Eleanor & Nora
