Shirley Sokol

Shirley A . Sokol , 82, of Wakefield died on Saturday, February 11, at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester.

Born in Gardner on October 15, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Emil and Signe (Shults) Hendrickson.

Mrs. Sokol was a graduate of Gardner High School. She was employed at Florence's Stone Company in Gardner, Concord Steel in Everett and had retired from General Spaces Inc. in Malden as a secretary.

Mrs. Sokol was the beloved wife of the late Peter E. Sokol . Loving mother of Steven Sokol and wife Laurie of Wakefield. Devoted grandmother of Brian Sokol , David Sokol and his girlfriend Lisa, Allison Benoit and husband Rich, Michael Sokol and wife Jacqueline, Jillian Lopes and husband Kevin, Jennifer Sokol , LCPL Kevin Sokol and the late Gregory and Peter Sokol . Cherished great grandmother of Kevin Lopes III. Sister of the Herbert E. Hendrickson.

Funeral service will be private.
