Stephen Mercurio

Stephen M . Mercurio , 45, of Chelmsford and Wakefield formerly of Billerica died Tuesday, October 13 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.

Born in Boston on August 13, 1964 he was the son of William V. Mercurio Jr. of North Andover and Ann M . (Lucey) Mercurio of Wakefield.

Stephen was a graduate of Billerica High School, Class of 1982. He had been a Chelmsford and Wakefield resident for the past 7 years. Stephen was the owner of Merc's Home Improvement and was the former head chef at Vincenzo's Restaurant in Chelmsford and Andover.

In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his son Stephen M . Mercurio Jr., his brother William V. Mercurio III and his wife Wendy of Wakefield and his sister Janice Mercurio of Cambridge. He is also survived by his niece Nicole and nephew Matthew.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8pm Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
