Susan Hetu

Susan A . Hetu , 69, a lifelong Stoneham resident died at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Saturday, January 11th.

Born in Stoneham on August 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Erasmo and Amelia (Diodati) Angelosanto.

Susan was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Cass of 1962. She was an administrative Assistant for the Town of Stoneham having worked at both the Stoneham Arena and the Stoneham Oaks Golf Course. Susan was a very active member of St. Patrick's Parish where she had been a Eucharistic Minister and had volunteered with many other organizations within the church.

Susan was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Hetu , Jr. She was the loving mother of Jim Hetu of Stoneham, Lynne Hetu of Weymouth, William Hetu of Woburn and Robyn Sartell and her husband Mike of Dracut. She was the sister of Margaret Columbus of Stoneham and the late Mary Lotti. She was the cherished grandmother of Thomas and Matthew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald & Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham, Wednesday at 9:00 A .M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM.
