Susan Kotzuba

Susan F . Kotzuba , 79, of Wakefield, formerly of Melrose and Somerville, died on Thursday, December 29 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Sharon, PA on May 13, 1932 she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Carroll) Rohrer.

Susan was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1950 and had also attended Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown. She had worked as an office assistant for the Elizabeth Peabody House in Somerville. Susan was involved with the Mystic Learning Center in Somerville and was also involved for many years in City Community Programs.

Susan was the mother of Jean Hamilton and her husband Keith of Wakefield, William G. Kotzuba and his wife Helen of Melrose, James M. Kotzuba and his wife Nancy of Somerville, Paul E. Kotzuba and his wife Tina of Melrose and Nancy Kotzuba of Medford. She was the grandmother of Amanda, Emily, Casey, Molly, Rachel, Brittany, Matthew, Eric and Mike. She was the sister of the late Patricia J. McCarthy and Robert Rohrer and the former wife of the late Michael Kotzuba .

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
