Susan Noska

Susan A. Noska, 63, of Stoneham, died on Monday, May 12 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Worchester on March 9, 1951, she was daughter of the late Bernard and Dorothy (Larson) Demers.

Mrs. Noska was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, Class of 1969 and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1972. She was employed at Massachusetts General Hospital as the Lead Transplant Coordinator for the Abdominal Transplant Program. Mrs. Noska is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael E. Noska, her two daughters; Michelle C. Noska and her partner Keith Gaffney, and Nicole S. Noska and her wife Karen Rowe all of Wakefield, her two brothers; Bernard Demers of Rutland and Robert Demers of Slidell, LA, her grandson Michael J. Rowe, her mother-in-law Anna Noska of Charlestown, and her dear friend Gail Gazarian of Reading.

Mrs. Noska was a proud member of NATCO, ITNS, ABTC, and ANNA. She most recently served as a member on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Massachusetts. She enjoyed gardening, cooking with her husband, playing Scrabble, reading, and sunning herself on her boat on Ossipee Lake.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
