Susan A. Pfeifer

Susan A. Pfeifer, age 69 of Saugus and formerly of Wakefield and Melrose died June 13 in Saugus. 

She was born in Melrose on December 8, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Patricia (Simmons) Farrell. 

She was raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1972. She had worked for Health South Regional Hospital in Woburn. While raising her family in Wakefield, Susan was very active in athletics including Pop Warner Football, Little League Baseball, Wakefield Youth Basketball and Cheer Leading. Later in her life she opened up her doors to any and all struggling kids that were close to her kids. She was a caring mother and caregiver to her mother in the later years of her life. 

She is survived by her loving son and daughter, John E. Pfeifer, Jr. of Peabody and Kelly Pfeifer of Wakefield. She was the sister of Steven Farrell of Fl and the late Ronald Farrell. She was also the loving grandmother of Savannah Almeida. 

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday June 21 at 12:00 pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the Service beginning at 10:00 am.
