Thelma Hubbard

Thelma M . Hubbard , 84, a life long Wakefield resident died on Saturday, October 8 at the Community Hospice house in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

Born in Wakefield on September 28, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Nary and Eliza (Muise) DeViller.

Thelma was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She had volunteered at the Melrose-Wakefield hospital for over 20 years. Mrs. Hubbard was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield.

Thelma was the wife of the late Joseph A. Hubbard . She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Doucette and her husband Thomas of Merrimack, New Hampshire, her son Joseph A. Hubbard , Jr. and his wife Pamela of Florida and her sister-n-law Lois DeViller of Wakefield. Mrs. Hubbard is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved Rottweiler, Ransom. She was predeceased by her brother Gerald DeViller and her sister Delia Chapman.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 oA'A'A'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
