Thelma Thacker

Thelma N. Thacker, age 96 of Wakefield died Tuesday, May 8th at the Greenwood Nursing Home. She was born in Malden, MA on May 11, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Irene (Gates) Nieforth. Thelma was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She had been a longtime resident of Wakefield and had been a member of the Greenwood Union Church.

Thelma was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Thacker. She was the loving mother Robert W. Thacker of Dighton, Cheryl Poor of Alaska, Elaine K. Purrington, Lois Ramocki and Stephen Thacker all of Wakefield and Pauline Perry of NH. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were private and are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
