Theresa Carpenito

Theresa A. Carpenito, 84, of Stoneham died on Tuesday, January 21 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Everett on May 9, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Sven and Catherine (Hogan) Johnson.

Theresa was a graduate of Everett High School. She had been a resident of Stoneham for many years and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham. Theresa was active in the Wakefield Bowladrome league and was a participant in the Cambridge Golf league. She also enjoyed line dancing.

Theresa was the wife of the late George Carpenito. She was the mother of John Carpenito and Gary Carpenito both of FL, Karen Aasen and her husband Alan of CA, George Carpenito and his wife Jill of Stoneham, Toni Doherty of Billerica and Kim McLaughlin and her husband Rick of Hudson, NH. She was the sister of Winnie Williams of Everett and was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
