Theresa George

Theresa M. (Maloney) St. George, 94, of Stoneham, died peacefully on January 17 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in 1925 in Somerville, MA, she was the youngest child of Nicholas and Catherine Maloney, and was the devoted wife of the late Brendan E. St. George with whom she enjoyed 45 years of marriage. She is survived by her five children: Kevin J. St. George & wife Karen of Pepperell, Kathleen A. St. George & husband Kriss Kline of Lakeville, Patricia St. George of Reno, NV, Christine Boynton & husband Edward of Lowell and Rosemary St. George of Cambridge. Dear sister in law of Kevin and Elizabeth St. George. She was predeceased by her loving sisters Mary Swett and Margaret Hardy. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Ian and wife Lauren St. George, Colin and wife Nicole St. George, Casey and Nicki St. George Simon and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many relatives and countless friends.

Terry attended Girl's Catholic High School in Malden, Class of 1943 and was a long-time member of St. Patrick Parish in Stoneham. She enjoyed travel, winters in Florida, theatre, music (especially Irish), family gatherings and Friday night card games with her friends. Terry was a woman of great faith, warmth, humor and charm.

Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 9am followed by a 10am Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visitation for family & friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
