Theresa N. Tenaglia

Theresa N. Tenaglia, age 94, of Lynnfield, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL and Boston, MA passed away on Monday, July 29 at Sunrise Assisted Living. 

Born in Orsogna, Italy on January 24, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Giustina (DiBenedetto) D’Angelo. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico Tenaglia. She was the cherished sister of the late Maria Padovani and Philip D’Angelo. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Theresa was born and raised in Italy and moved to the United States in 1948, where the family resided in Revere, MA. She married her husband, who was in the military, and together they embraced a life rich with travel experiences. Their journey led them to diverse residences before eventually finding their home in Florida during their fifties.

Theresa's passion for cooking and entertaining brought joy to those around her. Renowned for her kindness, care, and selflessness towards her family, she diligently cared for her parents and wholeheartedly looked after her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Through these actions, Theresa created a lasting legacy of love and support across generations.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Friday, August 2 at 10:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the church prior to the mass beginning at 9:30am. Entombment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
