Theresa M. Urnetta

Theresa M. Urnetta of Woburn and a former resident of Wakefield died Sunday, December 31 in Woburn at age 96. She was born in Woburn, MA on June 6, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary R. (Harbour) Lombardi. She was raised in Woburn and Winthrop and became a Wakefield resident in 1974. She was a retired Seamstress from the Shibley & Finer Dress Makers of Boston and later from the Red Wing Wholesale Distributors of Burlington. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter D. Urnetta. She was the loving mother of Thomas J. Urnetta and his wife Teri of Dracut. She was the devoted grandmother of Rachel Urnetta of AZ and Sarah E. Giglio of TX and great grandmother of Sophia, Elyssa, Gianna and Carmela. She was predeceased by her sister Harriette Tuff and her husband Clyde. 

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday, January 5 at 12 noon followed by interment at Lakeside Cemetery, 501 North Avenue, Wakefield at 1:00 pm.   

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 3-7pm.
