Thomas Bacigalupo

Thomas F. Bacigalupo, 83 of Wakefield died May 19 in Boston. Born in Malden on November 8, 1930 the son of the late Joseph F. and Blanche (Hart) Bacigalupo. Mr. Bacigalupo was raised in Malden and in Ossipee, NH and was a graduate The Newman Prep School and later from Northeastern University. He worked for many years in the financial field as a comptroller. Mr. Bacigalupo served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, skiing and fishing and gardening. He was also a member the Crystal Community Club of Wakefield.

Mr. Bacigalupo was the beloved husband of the late Stephanie J. "Stevie" (Filoramo). He was the loving father of Joseph W. Bacigalupo and his wife Suzanne of Wakefield and Walter Paul Bacigalupo of Dorchester. He was the brother of Walter Bacigalupo of ME and the late Genevieve Perrotta. He is also survived many loving nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law and by his dear friend Lorraine McDowell of Cambridge.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday 4-8pm.
