Thomas Flannery

Thomas O . Flannery , 71, of Cambridge and formerly of Stoneham, died Monday, September 8 at the Cambridge City Hospital.

Born in Cambridge on February 19, 1943, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Mary Louise (Buttimer) Flannery .

Mr. Flannery was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1961 and later attended the Chamberlayne Junior College in Boston. He had been a Stoneham resident for the last 42 years. He was a retired waiter at the European and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Mr. Flannery was the longtime companion of Beverly Keays of the North End. He was the brother of the late Mary Lou Bottelsen. He is survived by his nephew Edwin Bottelsen of Stoneham and his niece Kerri Bottelsen of New Hampshire.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham on Saturday at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7pm. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
