Thomas Hubbard

Thomas A. Hubbard, 63, of No. Hampton, NH formerly of Wakefield died on Wednesday, March 2 at the Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston.

Born in Winchester on October 21, 1947 he was the son of the late Peter E. and Edna (Muse) Hubbard.

Tom was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam serving two tours of duty. He was a retired self employed Painter.

Tom was a member and Past Post Commander of the Wakefield VFW Post #2106. He was also an All State VFW Post Commander and National Aid De Camp and Past President of the West Side Social Club. Tom enjoyed doing cross word puzzles.

He was the husband of Dawn (Nelson) Hubbard and the father of Thomas A. Hubbard, Jr. He was the brother of Peter, Robert & Jake Hubbard, grandfather of Thomas, III, Brendan & Nicholas and special Pappa to Joslyn & Lillian Snow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
