Thomas McLoughlin

Thomas McLoughlin , 87, of Salem, New Hampshire formerly of Wakefield died on Monday, June 13, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire.

Born in New Bedford on December 2, 1923, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jane (Byrne) McLoughlin .

Mr. McLoughlin had been a Wakefield resident from 1950 to 2009. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School, Class of 1941. Mr. McLoughlin had retired in 1990 from Harvard University as a Control Engineer. He was a World War II Army Veteran.

Mr. McLoughlin was the husband of the late Margaret (Daley) McLoughlin . He is survived by his three sons; Thomas J. McLoughlin and his wife Pam of Salem, New Hampshire, David C. McLoughlin and his wife Monica of Wakefield and Paul E. McLoughlin of Montreal, Canada. Mr. McLoughlin is also survived by his four grandchildren; Janet, Erik, Erin and Jenna and his great grandson Ryan.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
