Thomas Nestor

Thomas J. Nestor, 19, of Wakefield, died accidentally on Sunday, December 12 in Littleton, New Hampshire.

Born in Stoneham on September 20, 1991 he was the son of Thomas A. and Mary Ann (McGonagle) Nestor.

Tommy was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 2010 and was attending the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He was a captain for the Wakefield High School Soccer team and was a member of the Wakefield High School Track Team. Tommy was an Assistant Scout Master and Eagle Scout of Troop 701 in Wakefield. He was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his two sisters, Shannon P. Nestor of Wakefield and her fiancé Dominic Quinn and Colleen E. Nestor of Wakefield and her fiancé Brian Morelli. He is also survived by his 3 aunts, Kathryn Holland and her husband Robert of Reading, Helen Pullin of Winthrop and Jean Livick of Saugus and his two uncles, Russ Wilder and his wife Penn of NH and James McGonagle, Jr. and his wife Donna of VT. He was predeceased by his aunt and godmother Elizabeth M. Wilder.

His funeral service will be held at the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St, Wakefield on Friday at 11am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
