Ursula Champagne

Ursula M. Champagne, age 94 of Wakefield died Monday December 5 in Winchester. She was born in Wakefield on December 27, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Lodie (Pothier) Muse. She was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1939 and later from Burdett Business School of Boston. She was retired from the former American Mutual Insurance Company of Wakefield where she served as an Agent for many years and later worked for the Joseph A. Curley Insurance Agency of Wakefield. She had been a member of the Wakefield V.F.W Post, Ladies Auxiliary and the Hurd School, P.T.A.

Mrs. Champagne was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Champagne. She was the loving mother of Susan M. Champagne of Wakefield and Cynthia Champagne Collins and her husband Kenneth Collins of Southwest Harbor, ME. She is pre deceased by her son Paul F. Champagne, Jr. She was the sister of the late Leonard, Mike and Karl Muse, Shirley Elie and Claire Griffith.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Monday at 11:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friend will be held at the Funeral Home Sunday from 1-4 pm.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Champagne's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
