Violet Glod

Violet D . Glod , 89, of Lynnfield died on Monday, September 20 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Malden on June 4, 1921 she was the daughter of the late James F. and Violet (Dunton) Fullum.

Mrs. Glod was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She had been a Lynnfield resident for 62 years. Violet enjoyed collecting antiques.

Mrs. Glod was the wife of the late George I. Glod . She was the mother of Russell J. Glod of Jenks, OK and the late George Glod . She was the sister of Grace Manning of Carlsbad, CA and grandmother of Whitney, Ashley, Emily, Tyler and Spencer. She is also survived by her daughter-in- law
Susan Glod of Fairfield, CT.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Town Meeting House, 617 Main St. Lynnfield on Saturday, September 25 at 2 p.m. Parking is available at the Town Hall.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
