Violet Glod

Violet D. Glod, 89, of Lynnfield died on Monday, September 20 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Malden on June 4, 1921 she was the daughter of the late James F. and Violet (Dunton) Fullum.

Mrs. Glod was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She had been a Lynnfield resident for 62 years. Violet enjoyed collecting antiques.

Mrs. Glod was the wife of the late George I. Glod. She was the mother of Russell J. Glod of Jenks, OK and the late George Glod. She was the sister of Grace Manning of Carlsbad, CA and grandmother of Whitney, Ashley, Emily, Tyler and Spencer. She is also survived by her daughter-in- law
Susan Glod of Fairfield, CT.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Town Meeting House, 617 Main St. Lynnfield on Saturday, September 25 at 2 p.m. Parking is available at the Town Hall.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
