Virginia Perillo

Virginia (Consolini) Perillo , a resident of Dedham and formerly of Wakefield and Stoneham passed away at the Golden Living Center in Dedham October 1, 2011. She was 88.
Born May 13th, 1923 in New York, she grew up in East Canaan, CT. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a talented artist and lover of animals. Her infectious laugh and smile would light up the room and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph F. Perillo , she was a loving and caring mother to Rosemary Rooney and her husband Larry of Dedham, Linda Valenti and her husband Frank of Hampstead, NH. She was a wonderful grandmother to Stacey Reissfelder and her husband Donny, Jonathan Gallugi and his wife Shannon, Chris Valenti and his wife Felicia, Cara Vetter and her husband Jason, and Timothy and Matthew Valenti . She was a great grandmother to Lindsey and Matthew Reissfelder, Cameryn Gallugi, and Sam and Theo Valenti.
She is also survived by her four sisters a'" Annie Wouri, Dorothy Grant, Vicky Decker, and Marie Laidlaw.
Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Tuesday beginning at 9am to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11:30. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
